School Rules

  1. 1. DISCIPLINE:
  2. a) Discipline is the pillar of education and the key to success

All students are expected to be obedient to the Head teacher, teaching and non-teaching staff and prefects.
N.B. Teachers houses are out of bounds to all students.
b) Fighting, smoking, taking alcohol, bulling or molesting young ones, using abusive language e.t.c forbidden.

2. LANGUAGE:
English will be spoken at all times at the school.

3. IDENTITY CARD:  
Every student is expected to carry in his/her shirt pocket, a school identity card all the time

4. PROPERTY:
 Students must respect school property. All books must be wrapped whether they belong to the school or not. They school be carried in a canvas school bag. Any student suspected of having stolen anything will be expelled.

5. VISITORS:  
Students are not allowed to talk to visitors without permission. Boarders may receive visitors only on prescribed visitation days between 11:00am-5:00pm. Visitors are not allowed inside dormitories

6. STUDENTS AND SCHOOL PROGRAMMES:
Students are expected to work hard in class and attend to all school programmes. If for any reason, a day student misses school, he/she must report back with the parent or guardian who signed the admission form

7. PUNCTUALITY:
All students must be in the right place at the right time


8. SMARTNESS:
When you are in Baptist high school, you have no alternative but to be smart. The saying goes, 'the apparel proclaims the man' so all students must be smartly dressed in full school uniform (properly ironed), nicely polished shoes, and nicely combed short natural hair.

9. PERMISSION:
  No student should leave the school compound without written permission from the head teacher's office

10. SCHOOL MEALS:
Every student must take school meals, in case of special meals, a doctors prescription is necessary and the concerned parent/guardian must make special arrangements with the Head teachers

11. ELECTRIC GADGETS:
Electric gadgets are not allowed except those prescribed on the requirements forms

12. PREPS AND LIGHTS OUT:
All scheduled preps are compulsory to all students. Silence must be observed in all preps and after lights out

13. NOTE:
Any discussion concerning any student shall be held between the school authorities and the undersigned parent/guardian.

14. FAILURE:
Failure to comply with these rules and regulations may lead to the expulsion of the student from school
